Gentleman’s Facial

Designed specifically for men, our Gentleman’s Facial delivers a deep cleanse, revitalising your skin while offering total relaxation. This treatment is perfect for those looking to refresh tired, stressed skin and achieve a healthier, more balanced complexion.

We start with a thorough double cleanse, removing dirt, excess oils, and impurities. Next, Circadia’s exfoliating enzyme breaks down dead skin cells and unclogs pores, leaving your skin smoother and more refined. With the help of facial steam, the products penetrate more effectively, delivering lasting results.

Warm mitts are then used to remove the enzyme, followed by a tension-relieving facial massage to boost circulation and reduce stress. A bespoke mask, tailored to your skin’s unique needs, is applied while a calming scalp massage enhances relaxation.

After the mask is removed with warm mitts, we finish by applying a selection of products designed to target your skin concerns and leave you looking refreshed, healthy, and energised.

The Gentleman’s Facial offers the perfect balance of results and relaxation, helping you look and feel your best. Your skin will look smoother, more even-toned, and revitalised – perfect for any occasion or setting.

    FAQS

    • What does the treatment involve?

Pre-Cleanse: Remove dirt and impurities from the skin with a gentle oil or makeup remover to prepare the skin for cleansing.

Double Cleanse: A second cleanser is specifically designed for your skin type to deeply cleanse and remove dirt and impurities.

Exfoliation Enzyme: Apply an enzyme-based exfoliant to break down dead skin cells and unclog pores, leaving the skin feeling smooth and refreshed.

Steam: Use a facial steamer to open up pores and loosen blackheads and whiteheads, allowing for a deeper cleanse and improved penetration of subsequent products.

Removal of Enzyme Using Heated Mitts: Gently remove the enzyme exfoliant using heated mitts to melt away any remaining dead skin cells and impurities.

Facial Massage: Massage the face using gentle, upward strokes to increase blood flow, reduce tension, and promote lymphatic drainage, leaving the skin feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

Facial Mask with Scalp Massage: Apply a nourishing mask to the face, focusing on areas of concern such as fine lines, wrinkles, or dark spots. While the mask works its magic, massage the scalp with gentle, circular motions to stimulate blood flow and promote healthy hair growth.

Removal of Mask Using Heated Mitts: Gently remove the mask using heated mitts, allowing any remaining product to be absorbed into the skin.

Support Products: Apply supporting products such as serums, eye creams, or antioxidant spritz to address specific skin concerns such as dryness, puffiness, or dark circles.

Moisturise and SPF: Finish with a hydrating moisturiser or sunscreen containing SPF to lock in previous products and protect the skin from environmental stressors and UV damage.

    • Do I need a consultation first?

You can enjoy our Gentleman's facial without the need of a consultation, however we strongly suggest booking one for a date prior to your desired treatment should you have any skin concerns you specifically wish to address.

    • Do men have facials?

Yes, men do get facials! While it's true that facials are often associated with women's skincare routines, men can benefit from facial treatments as well. In fact, many men are now embracing facial care as part of their grooming routines, and many establishments have started offering specialised facial treatments designed specifically for men's skin. These facials may include deep cleansing, exfoliation, extractions, and moisturising to help address common concerns such as acne, razor burn, and ingrown hairs. Additionally, many men's facials incorporate techniques and products tailored to address specific issues like shaving irritation, ingrown hairs, and ageing skin. With the rise of men's grooming culture, men's facials have become increasingly popular, offering a range of benefits including improved skin texture, reduced irritation, and a more radiant complexion.

    • I have facial hair, can I still have a facial?

If you have facial hair, we are still able to provide a facial treatment, however this won’t include the area covered with hair. We can however develop a bespoke facial with you to target the areas on your face which don’t have hair. We advise discussing with us at time of booking to ensure we can still provide you with a memorable experience.

    • Do I need to shave before a facial?

It's best to shave at least 24 hours before a facial to avoid irritation and ingrown hairs. If you must shave before the treatment, use a clean razor and shaving cream to minimise irritation.

    • How many sessions will I need?

Results are seen immediately however for long lasting results or to target specific conditions, we recommend regular treatments every 4 to 6 weeks, along with supporting at home care skincare regimes.

    • Is the facial painful?

No, there are no painful sensations.

    • Is there anything which would stop me having the treatment?

Open wounds: Areas with open wounds, cuts, or lesions can not be treated. The enzymes within the products used may exacerbate the condition or introduce bacteria into the wound.

Surgical or injury scars: Recently scarred areas can not be treated, as the enzymes may disrupt the healing process or cause irritation.

Skin infections: If you have a skin infection, such as cellulitis, folliculitis, or impetigo, it's essential to treat the infection before undergoing a Circadia facial.

Skin cancer: If you have a history of skin cancer or are currently undergoing treatment for skin cancer, it's recommended to consult with your healthcare specialist before undergoing one of our Circadia facials.

Autoimmune disorders: Certain autoimmune disorders, such as psoriasis, eczema, or dermatitis, may require special considerations which may prevent us being able to provide this treatment.

Recent chemical peels, injectables or laser treatments: Allow sufficient time for your skin to recover from previous treatments before undergoing this treatment.
Skin conditions that require systemic treatment: Conditions like seborrheic dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, or acne cysts may require systemic treatment and may not be suitable for Circadia facials.
